Q: Tell me about yourself.
A: I've been involved with art and design since I can remember, and chose it as my career in the 9th grade. I completed Art school in the summer of 1988. Before landing my first full time art position in 1991, I worked as a freelancer. In 1994, I dove into the Internet, and haven't come up since. I became the Art Director of Kmart Corporation Internet Department in 1998.

Q: What are your greatest strengths?
A: Design and creativity.

Q: What are your greatest weaknesses?
A: Working too hard.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: Father, husband and amateur mechanic, restore a 1982 Corvette. and if weather permits, golf.

Q: How can you contribute to our company?
A: Giving all that I have to offer with creativity and what I have learned about the Internet.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 3 to 5 years?
A: As a Creative Director of an Internet company.

Q: What are your career goals and what are you doing to achieve them?
A: My goal is to position myself in a company's Art Department as an Art Director, and work my way up to Creative Director. To achieve this, I plan to keep current with new technology, improve my management skills, and be aware of the competition.

Q: Why did you leave your previous employer?
A: I left Ameritech because there was no room for growth into an Art Director position. Kmart offered this position and I saw it as an excellent opportunity to achieve my goals.

Q: What do you like most (least) about your job?
A: Most: The people I work with.
Least: There is nothing I dislike about my job.

Q: Why are you looking for another job?
A: Kmart has since sold the Internet Department to a venture capital company in San Francisco, which makes it a perfect opportunity for me to transition myself from the corporate environment into a professional ad agency.

Q: What type of decisions are most difficult for you?
A: Having to let go of an artist, and deciding between them, when each have unique qualities.

Q: What are your greatest accomplishments?
A: Becoming a father, and having a successful family life.

Q: What kind of worker are you?
A: I hope I'm the kind of worker you are looking for. Creative, dedicated and responsible. With just a touch of humor.
